Sons Alex (born 1990) and Andrew (born 1994); 3 stepdaughters Amber, Mandy and Regan; 10 grandchildren
I live about 20 miles southwest of Jacksonville, FL. I have my own business, Deppe Communications, which provides marketing & PR services for small businesses including websites, SEO and media relations. I have 2 sons, Alex & Andrew Kriehn. Alex is completing his B.A. Degrees in PolySci and Economics at the University of Florida in Gainesville and will graduate at the end of 2016. Andrew just graduated from St. John's College in Annapolis, MD, and begins his Ph.D. Program in Mathematics at the University of Florida in the Fall. I also have 3 grown step-daughters who are married and live in Alabama and Florida. Together, they have blessed us with 10 grandchildren!
I enjoyed hanging out in senior park, attending the dances in the cafeteria, and eating my lunch mostly out of the vending machines! Charlestown Chews still hold a fond memory for me - it was my go-to lunch when the cafeteria fare was bad. Of course, a big high mark was the crew team's Henley win, and all of the crazy football games at Bader field. I remember leaving Bader Field just a minute or two before a riot broke out and several people were stabbed. For several years, I went back to A.C. For the Thanksgiving Day game, enjoying the game and the cold as a work-up to the big feast. After I moved south, I missed it but thought about it every year. I loved Mrs. Barrett, the biology teacher and have weird memories of the guy that failed miserably trying to teach us chemistry (he was fired after we finished that year). Remember the physics teacher who gave us 50 points just for signing our name? Big Bird? TONs of great memories with great people.
